I originally found this site via post at Yahoo!, and it felt very timely because I had a lot of games on my shelf that I stopped playing. This year has been a great year for video games, and I wanted to get some of those new releases without getting jacked at Gamestop or waiting for someone to call/lowball from Craigslist.
SwitchGames.com has come a long way from the day I’ve joined. The site allows users to post up their collections and their want lists. The SwitchBot finds matches, and with the click of a button, you can send a trade request. You can also look at the games in your collection to see any and everyone who wants that particular game. By browsing their personal site, you can see what they own, what’s for trade, and what their want lists are. The site is very easy to use, and the rating system keeps people pretty honest –SwitchGames.com promises to investigate mail fraud which is a federal offense.
I haven’t had any bad experiences yet, and there’s plenty I can do to make sure I’m safe — SafeTrade or getting confirmation on my outgoing packages.
Those who want to make sure they never get burned can opt for a SafeTrade which costs $5.95. The price is well worth it — the “package” includes a printable stamp bearing to and from addresses, tracking, and a guarantee from SwitchGames against all losses.
I’ve traded several games. I had a lot of Korean region games that played in English, and I posted them up to see if there was any interest. I’ve traded about seven games already — the most recent was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for God of War 3. Trades can be rejected, and trades for multiple games can be set up by visiting another user’s page. Just right now, someone messaged me about trading my Gears of War 2 and Street Fighter 4 for Gears of War 1, FEAR 2, and Devil May Cry 4. My two games for your three? Sure!
One of the newest features on SwitchGames.com is the sale feature. You can now sell your video games. Remember that the price of your listing includes shipping/handling. The site also takes a 10% cut which isn’t bad considering GameStop takes a bigger one. I haven’t sold any games, I think it’s much more economical and easier to trade.

Interesting….I have always stuck with gamestop but with those type of deals may be worth a look!
I know this is late, but thanks for the heads up on this site. I will have to look into it.
