Does anyone have a nickname or shorter version of your gamertag that you prefer?
For example, IshGibor usually = Ishy.
Anyone else?

Thanks to those who showed up last night on MW2:
Gen, Vern, Ishy, Derganx,ClumsyG and a guest appearance by Gcrosser. Pretty sure that was the roster. Apologize if I forgot anyone but I think that covers it. Unfortunately we lost more than we won but we had a couple of really nice wins with outstanding team work. We ran into a group that used the care package glitch to get a cheap win against us. Funny thing was though even though they used the glitch they barely won in the domination match 200-198. Good job guys, if not for the glitch victory would have been ours.
Hope to see everyone in the near future.
With the help of Clumsy G, I finished the second play through of Borderlands. No easy task…as Clumsy can attest by the time you get to the Crimson Fastness levels, every fight is a mini-boss battle. Most enemies are scaled to level 50 death is quick and often. But we saw it to the end and completed the second play through.
Now there is no official third play through. However after the second play through all enemies are scaled to level 50 and 51, plus all the bosses are back at their original locations. The reward for beating them again are much more valuable and rare items! It is obvious the overall goal of this FPS / Dungeon Crawler is to find the best loot, orange items being the most rare and powerful. These items have a higher chance of dropping at the hardest levels (play through 2.5) and with 4 players.
I attempted to go back and check out the two DLC’s on the first play through to get the missions off my check list and but was severely disappointed to find all enemies are at level 30 (weak) and all weapons and items are at no higher than level 45. In my opinion it is a waste of time since you will never get the higher valued / power items.
I’m still running the Borderlands event this Friday night. It will be to kill mass amounts of fools and go treasure hunting. If you’re a lower class character bring them and we can add some levels to your player. If you have the Zombie DLC that would be helpful. I think we all need to be maxed at level 50 before we try the Mad Moxxi DLC.
With games like Borderlands rasing the bar for FPS/RPG style games I hope Fallout does not use the same formula as they did on Fallout 3. It would be nice to see some decent multi-player in Fallout more like Borderlands and less like Fable 2.
My “Major Award” (for all of you Chrsitmas Story fans) came in the mail today. Got my authentic A-Gamer T-shirt prize for coming in 1st in the last challenge. Thanks again to Sgt. Cougar for generously donating the prizes for the challenges and thanks to all the participants who I had the pleasure of dominating in the challenge.
Special shout out to Clumsy G who didn’t make it easy and put the pressure on big-time in the last few days.
See you all next round.
